GSFA Platinum provides eligible California homebuyers with a Down Payment Assistance (DPA) grant. The grant is sized up to 5% of the total loan amount and can be used towards down payment and/or closing costs. Many times the assistance will help a California homebuyer purchase a home with little-to-no money out of pocket. The program is very flexible and works with FHA, VA, USDA and Conventional loan programs. The income limits are higher than one might expect (low-to-moderate income). Call us to see if you qualify for the GSFA grant to help you purchase or refinance your primary home.
Benefits of the GSFA Platinum Program
- Do not have to be a first-time California homebuyer to qualify.
- Designed to provide down payment assistance in conjunction with the purchase or refinance of a primary residence in California.
- The grant does not need to be repaid. The grant is not a second mortgage.
- Can be combined with an eligible California Mortgage Credit Certificate (MCC) for more buying power.
